Ed Rensi is a prime example of achieving the American dream. He began
his career by flipping hamburgers and washing dishes at McDonald's at
the age of 20. With determination and a burning desire to succeed, Ed
worked his way up the corporate ladder and in 1984 became the President
and Chief Executive Officer of McDonald's USA. After a 14-year stint
as President and CEO, Ed retired to pursue one of his greatest passions,
auto racing. From that very first auto race until today, Rensi has been
instrumental in the development of Team Rensi Motorsports. Rensi has
always been a huge supporter of NASCAR and makes many appearances throughout
the year to promote the sport.
Rensi and his wife, Anne reside in Downer's Grove, IL and are the proud
parents of one daughter, Marcy. Ed and Anne are also the grandparents
of four lovely children.
